You can brew iron goddess oolong using a teapot with a strainer if you make the drink for a few family members. It is beautiful to watch the rolling tie guan yin oolong tea unfurl into nice whole leaves while steeping in the pot. Importantly, tea tieguanyin can be brewed more than 3 times. |
How to brew tieguanyin tea? Warm up the teapot with boiling water, put about 1-2 Tsp Anxi tie guan yin, pour a small amount of boiling water into the tea, and immediately pour out. This helps to damp tea leaves, wash and help them to start steeping. After that pour 8 fl.oz of boiling water which is about 85-95°C (185-205°F) and cover the teapot for 3-5 minutes before serving. |
